Warning Label

If there was a Bitsy Manual, or if I came with warnings, which I should:

*I'm a very crazy, fun-lovin, laid-back type of girl-
but you have to know me before the real me comes out. This can take a
while sometimes. Just wait.

*I'm real quiet and often feel awkward around strangers until I'm comfortable (or have a lot of booze in me.)

*I'll stay quiet for two reasons: You are a quiet person as well and/or I have too much to say and don't know where to start. I'm comfortable with these silences though, so don't think I'm bored- I'm just thinking and am in my little world. If I have anything that needs to be said, I'll say it.

*I'm not at all snobby, just a bit shy!

*I LOVE to laugh more than anything and I like people who find humor in everything and never take themselves too seriously.

*I have a pretty dark and morbid sense of humor. I'm sarcastic and can be quick witted when I want.

*I like to dance. It makes me happy.

*I talk to myself. I'm aware of this. You don't need to bring it to my
attention. I also Mumble. Badly. Ignore me, I'm usually just talking to
myself anyway.

*I can be very indecisive when its things that aren't important to me, but i get a bit bossy when I know what I want.

*I can't hide my emotions very well. I'm very very honest.

*I can be feisty. Watch out.

*I'm working on: biting my tongue more, putting my foot in my mouth less,
and speaking up for myself when I should. It's taking me longer than I
would like.

*I like to use my creativity daily.

*I think I most likely may have an OCD. And I like me that way.

*I'm always myself and I respect those who do the same. I hate fakes and flakes.

*I'm too patient. I always give second chances. Sometimes more.

*I refuse to label myself and I'll never judge anybody as long as they're real.

A New Year

Another year….

Getting used to saying Twenty Ten.

Preparing for what curve balls this next year and decade will throw at me.

I did a pretty good job of making my resolutions from last
year:

I traveled to L.A. more than twice, I traveled out of the country, I stayed single for most of the year and learned to love it (ok, like it-not exactly loved!), made a lot of new great friends, tried new things and focused more on other people.

This year my resolutions are similar but I’m going to try
and up last years goals!

My #1 (if I can only follow one resolution this year) it
would be:

-Accept life lessons quicker and more gracefully. Don’t be bitter, don’t regret anything!

As for my other goals:

-Continue to stay single until I can actually LOVE it!! Ha.

-Travel somewhere new (outside of work trips)

-Take more local trips (weekend roadtrips)

-Take more risks and step outside comfort zone more.

-Organize all the little things in my life.

Bitsy Updates:

-Changes have been made and are continuing to be made in The
Tempting Tarts. I now have more responsibilities, but accept my duties very
humbly!

-Emerald Dollies Headquarters is now ALMOST all set up! Once that happens we can get started gettingourselves back on the path we had planned for this year! (lots of new things planned, stay tuned!)

-Still working on an official website… hopefully soon people, soon!

-Looking to book photoshoots and shows in the upcoming months!! (Willing and wanting to travel for them!!)

-Saw a lot of family over the Holidays. Brother and Sis-in-law came to visit. First time all the siblings and sibling-in-laws were together in the same room for a while… My mother was delighted!

-“The Purple Ah-Oooga” is officially Bitsy’s (name is now on the title) I will learn to drive it and care for it this Spring! Although I’m not looking as forward to actually getting it into my hands anytime soon- cause I hope my grandpa will stay alive for a while still!

- New Dollies Shoes to be debuted at Jan shows! Be prepared… ;)

-Disneyland twice last year, my dream came true! Plus I got to see it for the Holiday Season for the first time! Best ever!

-Disneyland is bringing back Captain EO next month!! Also maybe People Mover. Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln has been refurbished. Nothing makes me more happy than Disneyland bringing back the Classics. There will be at least TWO trips there again this year!

-Anyone up for going to Disneyland this year for Rockabilly day or Burlesque day? I’ll get the dates and post them soon!

-And while I’m on the Disney theme---Bitsy is looking forward to co-producing her first Tarts show this year… stay tuned!

Oh, five days into the new year and Bitsy needs a vacation already. Any suggestions?!? (A warm beach would be nice, a warm anywhere really!)

It’s November, reflection time. First of all, I cannot believe it is November already! This year has flown by, and boy, what a year it has been so far!

Its been such a growing experience for me, I learned a lot about myself, and some of what I discovered really surprised me! This year I was able to celebrate some of my proudest moments- Thank you to everyone who was there with me during these milestones!

Unfortunately this year I was also forced to wallow in some of my darkest moments. As hard as some of them were to live through, I’m so thankful for all of those experiences, and for my support system- I have some amazing friends. It’s not fair that you test who are your true friends during these times, but it is eye opening and I’m so glad I have some real tough people here on my side! I love you all!

With November here, winter and Holidays speeding towards us- I’m looking forward to seeing what life has waiting for me just around the corner.

It’s a transitioning time for me, autumn always seems to be the perfect time for that. I’m not really sure what I’m transitioning towards, but I’m anxious to discover it.

*So I finally gave in and joined Twitter- not sure how long I will be there cause I don’t know if I enjoy it yet or not. I don’t know why I’m so uncomfortable with it…

*Also I opened a Pinup Lifestyle acct… we’ll see about that one too.

*Looking to book new photo shoots, and have brainstormed a number of new acts- now just looking for the time to create them!

*Tempting Tarts has a new website www.temptingtarts.com, and it’s so purty!

*Making arrangements to get bitsyrini.com and emeralddollies.com into actual sites, rather than just linked to Myspace. After almost a year, it’s about time!

*The Emerald Dollies housewarming was cancelled due to roomies (Lulu) outbreak of Scarlet Fever. It has been rescheduled and re-themed to Nightmare Before Xmas- look for the new
invite in your inbox soon!

*Getting the paint out soon. I need my hobby back, I need to create. For ME. As if I don’t have enough projects on my table already!

*I’m going to LA over Thanksgiving. Going to Disneyland!! Garment District!! And spending much needed time with my lovely friends!!


...hmmm, I think that is all my latest, I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!! There is so much to be thankful for!
