It’s November, reflection time. First of all, I cannot believe it is November already! This year has flown by, and boy, what a year it has been so far!

Its been such a growing experience for me, I learned a lot about myself, and some of what I discovered really surprised me! This year I was able to celebrate some of my proudest moments- Thank you to everyone who was there with me during these milestones!

Unfortunately this year I was also forced to wallow in some of my darkest moments. As hard as some of them were to live through, I’m so thankful for all of those experiences, and for my support system- I have some amazing friends. It’s not fair that you test who are your true friends during these times, but it is eye opening and I’m so glad I have some real tough people here on my side! I love you all!

With November here, winter and Holidays speeding towards us- I’m looking forward to seeing what life has waiting for me just around the corner.

It’s a transitioning time for me, autumn always seems to be the perfect time for that. I’m not really sure what I’m transitioning towards, but I’m anxious to discover it.

UPDATES:

*So I finally gave in and joined Twitter- not sure how long I will be there cause I don’t know if I enjoy it yet or not. I don’t know why I’m so uncomfortable with it…

*Also I opened a Pinup Lifestyle acct… we’ll see about that one too.

*Looking to book new photo shoots, and have brainstormed a number of new acts- now just looking for the time to create them!

*Tempting Tarts has a new website www.temptingtarts.com, and it’s so purty!

*Making arrangements to get bitsyrini.com and emeralddollies.com into actual sites, rather than just linked to Myspace. After almost a year, it’s about time!

*The Emerald Dollies housewarming was cancelled due to roomies (Lulu) outbreak of Scarlet Fever. It has been rescheduled and re-themed to Nightmare Before Xmas- look for the new

*Getting the paint out soon. I need my hobby back, I need to create. For ME. As if I don’t have enough projects on my table already!

*I’m going to LA over Thanksgiving. Going to Disneyland!! Garment District!! And spending much needed time with my lovely friends!!

...hmmm, I think that is all my latest, I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!! There is so much to be thankful for!

Bitsy Expressions

Ah, the art of facial expressions.
Bitsy can be quite quiet at times, but she's known for her crazy facial expressions... and strange sound effects
(but that's a whole other blog!)

The faces seem to run in her family, and they seem contagious too...
Looking through photos, I found many examples of what now will be called
Bitsy Moments...

Some examples:

Bitsy Family Moments:

Little Sis and Bitsy

Bisty's Baby Sis:

Bitsy Little Sis and Baby Bro:

Bitsy Friend Moments:

It even rubs off on babies...
(granted, this baby
IS related to Bitsy)

"May your life be filled with laughter and your own Bitsy Moments!!"

Bitz

A Bitsy Childhood

Bitsy's childhood was full of love, adventures and amazing memories.

To celebrate Bitsy's upcoming 25th year of life, here is a brief photo time line of Bitsy's babyhood through now.

In it are unknown facts and embarrassing stories... All for your enjoyment!

Baby Bitsy.

The oldest of five children, these were her only days alone, and not having to share the spotlight with anyone. Those two years were all she needed to know that the spotlight was home :)

Roadtrips.

For as long as Bitsy can remember, her summers have been filled with roadtrips with the grandparents.
With the help from grandpa, she was driving at a very early age.

Where it all started:
Bitsy's strange love for pigs. And red shoes.

Disneyland
Many people are aware of Bitsy's "little" obsession with Disney.
It started at birth, and was fed more and more every year...

Performances.

There were always costumes in Bitsy's childhood, she was a different character everyday. Plays, dance performances and sing-a-longs filled every moment.

Flash forward.
Bisty looking a lot like she would in about twenty years. Crazy.
Strangest thing, Little Sister also grew a duck bill... :)

4 of 5.

The siblings almost complete.

Bitsy sporting a short hair cut, making her look a lot like Little Brother, who was in his disco stage apparently. Little Sister and Bitsy were always in matching outfits. Baby Brother looking lost.

Family.

Bisty was always drowning in family.
Here she is with her cousins, cooling off in Louisiana.

Tough girl.

On a road trip to Prince George, BC.
There were never too many photo ops in Bitsy's family.

Visiting the family in Hawaii.
Bitsy alway stylish in her lime green and black zebra bathing suit.
Bitsy with a perm
.
Who's brilliant idea was the perm?

The monkey's.

No more perm, but sporting a little bob. Perfecting the pose on a fence, roadside somewhere in California. Bitsy almost got ran down by an elk for this picture.

This also marked the beginning of her "hippie" year.

Disneyland.
looking a lot like she did ten years earlier.

Camping.
One of Bitsy's favorite things to do, summer wasn't complete without it.
She'd go in HUGE groups of family an friends for weeks at a time.
Some of Bitsy's best memories are from camping.

Not sure how it happened exactly.
Bitsy's last couple years of elementary school were filled with the sounds of
Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Cranberries, Green Day and No Doubt.

But when Bitsy was 12, boy band fever hit her hard.

It lasted until she was 15, but still clung to threads of her throughout highschool.
She spent many years waiting in lines for concerts, sneaking backstage, and
doing all sorts of other embarrassing things...

Bisty and her friends were determined to start a girl group of their own.
They called themselves Enravish.

That didn't last long.

Enravish.

High School.

Sometime towards the end of high school, Bitsy decided to spend her days as a redhead.

Here she is in NYC.

Drivers license.
Bitsy often drives for therapy. Now if she could only look at the road...

Senior Year.

Still Red. This is the time Bitsy decided to try a new path.
She had her first official boyfriend.
ooooh.

After breaking up with her first boy *tear* Bitsy chopped her hair just after
senior pics were taken and spent the rest of the year with cute flippy hair and
apparently all she did was eat... These are the only pictures recorded of that
time:

Attractive. haha.

Activities.
Besides the obvious dance, Bitsy loves to hike, snowboard climb and zip line.
You might convince her to get on a wake board, but only if you can convince her there are no man eating fish in the water.

House sitting.
Around her senior year, Bitsy and her friends found out that house sitting was a wonderful job.
It soon became a favorite hobby!

Little known fact:
Since childhood, Bitsy has been quite the Twister champ.

Just after High school, Bitsy took her first
"no parent, no family, just girlfriends" trip.
They went to Hawaii.

Siblings complete.
One happy family.

The party years.

Bisty was pretty well behaved through highschool.
Just after is when the trouble began ;)
Clubs, drinking, punk shows...
And a very bad habit of hanging with bands.

What went wrong?

We may never know.....

But all of this has turned into the Bitsy we now know and love...

No wonder she's crazy.

;)
